Dawn Ellen Ketcham

Sunrise September 18th, 1962

Sunset January 1st, 2024

Dawn was always a free spirit. She had a rocky path from childhood into adulthood, but she chose a new path for her life 20 years ago. She left her troubled past behind when she moved to Colorado in 2003. She did her best to mend her broken relationships through her journey. She became the mother she always dreamt of being, through becoming a grandmother. Dawn’s grandchildren were the most important pieces of her. From sports games, to building blocks, to playing cards, to car rides, to telling stories, she made sure her grandchildren knew how much she loved them.

Dawn will be deeply missed.

She will forever be in our hearts.

Dawn joins the love of her life, Paul Aragon

her best friend, Juan Campos

and her companion, Joe Mathis

Dawn leaves behind two children, Paul (Melanie) Aragon, and Dakota (Matthew) Massey

six grandchildren; Anthony, Madisyn, Aivery, Lincoln, Carter, and Mia

and her great grandson Landon

When I Am Gone

When I am gone, release me, let me go.

I have so many things to see and do, you mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears.

Be thankful for our beautiful years.

I gave to you, my love.

You can only guess how much you gave to me in happiness.

I thank you for the love you have shown, but now it’s time I traveled on alone.

So, grieve awhile for me, if grieve you must,

then let your grief be comforted by trust.

It’s only for a time that we must part, so bless the memories within your heart.

I won’t be far away, life goes on,

though you can’t see or touch me, I’ll be near.

All my love around you soft and clear.

And then, when you must come this way alone,

I’ll greet you with a smile and say, “Welcome Home”.
