Robert Charles Gerhardt
“Country”
Born to life on October 21, 1954
at Williams AFB in Chandler, Az.
Born into Eternal Life on September 12th, 2019
Robert was 64 years old and passed away after a 2 year battle with cancer. He was passionate about Harley Davidson motorcycles and everyone who knew Country knew about his Harley.
In Country’s spare time you would find him playing his guitar, riding or working on his Harley, messing with his truck, tailgating at the shooting range, 4 wheelin’, or watching his favorite Broncos game on television. He was a gunowner and a strong supporter of the 2nd Ammendment. Country greatly loved the many large dogs he owned over his lifetime. From his boyhood Snowball and Ceasar to his Belle and Shotgun he left behind, he loved each one of them with all his heart.
Robert was a Marine and served in the Marine Corps in his early twenties. After his military service he started his long careers in construction and as a Maintenance Technician. He learned his crafts working for hotels, department stores and apartment complexes. He worked for PK Management for his last 9 years and had to take an early retirement due to his health problems.
Country leaves behind his wife, Cathi, step-daughter, Anita (Mike), 2 step-grandchildren, his mother, Dorothee, his sister, Karin (JD), 2 nieces, a nephew, an Uncle, an Aunt, and 4 cousins, as well as many friends and acquaintances.
Robert will be greatly missed by those who love him.
