ROBIN ANN (nee Muhl) KEARNEY
Suddenly on May 18, 2019 ROBIN ANN (nee MUHL) KEARNEY passed away in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Robin was born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 14, 1954, the daughter of Robert August and June Pearl (nee Hollingsworth) Muhl. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Michael Patrick Kearney, her daughter Kelly Jean (nee Kearney) Sattari and husband Sasan, two incredible grandchildren, Kian June Sattari and Omid Ireton Sattari, two sisters, Karen Schneider and husband Joseph of North Carolina, and Jeane Croteau of Florida, a very large extended family and many close friends that she considered family. Robin retired in 2009 from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) after 23 years in various positions with the university and she and her husband relocated from Maryland to Colorado to be near family in retirement. Robin and Michael were avid travelers over the years but nothing brought greater joy to her than the sight of her daughter and grandchildren coming through the front door. She lived every day to see them and spend time with them. Robin was loved by many and always had time to help family and friends. She loved to cook and making her famous Buffalo Chicken Dip and Pumpkin Bread for others always brought that fabulous smile to her face. She will be dearly missed so very much by so many.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Robin on June 29, 2019 beginning 12:00 p.m. at the Black Forest Community Church, 6845 Shoup Rd., Colorado Springs CO with a reception following at Frankies Too in Falcon CO.

Robin was such a wonderful sister. Her unexpected death has left so many of us in shock. She lived well, loved well, and is reunited in Heaven with Jesus and all of our family who died in Christ before her. Until I am called home, love you and miss you, precious Ra!
Mike,
I will be thinking of you and your family on this day.For those of us not fortunate to have known Robin, you have let us into your heart and shared who she was and how much you both enjoyed love and life together. I feel like she and I could have had great conversations had we ever met. I can’t imagine the pain you and those that knew her are feeling but wanted you to know how much I admire how you have handled this loss with such grace and dignity. She no doubt was a very special person.
Sending blessings from Baltimore my old friend. Take good care.
Henry
Robin was the epitome of a loving and caring Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend. She cared deeply about those she loved. Her actions spoke louder then words. I am thankful I had the opportunity to vacation with her in the last few months and cherish our friendship of 30 years. Mike, Kelly, Sasan, Kian and Omid you were her world and she will forever be with you all!
