Corporal Kenneth (Ken/Kenny) Clark passed away on June 22, 2025 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 34.

He is survived by his wife Candy Clark of Colorado Springs, his mother, Susan Sanchez currently of Friendship Wisconsin, and his sister Mandi Clark of Bolingbrook Illinois. As well as the Joy, Clark, Schroedle, Quirke families and countless others. Please continue prayers of strength, love, and peace for all those that are in mourning for this loss.

Kenneth was an outgoing adventure seeker who loved hanging out with his family and friends. He took great pride in his work, education, truck and so much more. He loved playing with his pups and snuggling the cats even though he wasn’t a cat person. Kenny loved and adored his chosen home state of Colorado and being outdoors. Whether it was kayaking at the lake, camping in the mountains, going to the range, or simply breathing in the fresh air he was ready and willing.

Born in Joliet, Illinois, Ken would grow to become many things including a great cook as well as an EMT and firefighter. But his real dream was to join the military. In 2016 Kenneth finally joined the United States ARMY, where he deployed to Afghanistan with the 4th Infantry Division. Ken was stationed at Fort Carson with the 2nd Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, known as the Tomahawks.

After his term of service was completed being discharged with honors, Kenneth then went back to school to obtain his Associates degree in HVAC and electric where he will posthumously receive full credit for his courses. His wife, Candy Clark will walk the stage and accept his degrees and certifications on his behalf August 30th through IntelliTec College of Colorado Springs. Kenny accomplished many things throughout his short life and left so much more undone but he will live on in our hearts and memories. He was a great man with a very old loving soul. Again thank you for the comfort and support for the families during this most difficult time.

Memorial services will take place at Alternative Cremation (2377 N. Academy) in Colorado Springs, Colorado @ 10:30am-12pm August 12th 2025. CPL Clark’s plaque will be posted in the Pikes Peak National Cemetery including his military with honors service at 1pm. We will also hold a Celebration of Life for Kenneth Thomas Clark from 2pm-6pm at Venue719. Anyone is welcome to attend any and every part of his day. Thank you again for all your love and support.
