In Loving Memory of Anita Masar
Anita Louise Masar, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on June 20th, 2025 surrounded by those who loved her most. She was 62 years old.
A woman of unwavering strength, boundless love, and contagious energy, Anita was the heart of her family. She lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and fierce determination. Whether she was cheering you on, offering her famous words of wisdom, or simply showing up when you needed her most—she was a constant source of comfort and courage.
She faced life’s challenges with a bravery that inspired everyone around her. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, she fought with grit and grace, emerging stronger than ever. Her journey didn’t stop at recovery—she transformed her life, becoming a dedicated CrossFit athlete and proving that resilience knows no age or limits. Her strength—both physical and emotional—was unmatched.
A true family woman at heart, Anita poured herself into raising and supporting her loved ones. She worked hard, loved harder, and always made time for those she cared about. Her advice, always honest and insightful, had a way of grounding you and giving you just what you needed—whether that was a solution or simply a reminder that you weren’t alone.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, determination, and hope. Her impact will continue to ripple through the lives she touched, and her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years Thomas, children; Hayden (Matt, Bowden and Bridger), Lane (Maddie), Tristan, sister; Annette Martinez, several brother and sister-in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews who will carry her spirit in their hearts always.

July 10th St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Florence Colorado.
Rosary at 9:20 to be followed with 10:00 am Mass. Burial services at Union Highland cemetery in Florence.
Reception to follow at the St. Benedict’s parish center.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Benedict’s Catholic Church / Chapel fund.
