Leilani Roe-Miller, 71, a retired lifelong nurse passed away on December 15th, 2025. Born on November 5th, 1954 in Tripler General Hospital in Hawaii.  She graduated from Fountain Fort Carson High School in 1973, then went on to get her nursing degree from SUNY Delhi. Her semi-green thumb drove her passion for gardening and if you asked her, her greatest accomplishment was adopting a child from China.

Leilani’s love for people had no end. Her nursing career took many forms including medical surgery, pediatrics, home health and as a director of nurses of a nursing home. She anticipated her favorite time of the year, Christmas, to watch Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol, decorate the tree, make cookies, and spend quality time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Erwin Miller, daughter Lily Roe-Miller (Keith Seeman), brother Micheal Roe, sister-in-law Mary-Ann Roe, nephew Joshua Roe (Jessica Roe), great niece Piper Roe and great nephew Alex, daughter in law Alissa Miller, and grandchildren Mazzy Miller and Keenen Miller. Surpassed by her parents Bonnie and David Roe, sister Valarie Roe, Uncle Richard Buchanan, Aunt Sheila Buchanan, and Stepson Matthew Miller. A celebration of life will be held at St Francis Xavier Church in Pueblo, CO, January 22nd, at 10:30am starting with a rosary and mass followed by a small reception.
