Claude Demond Flakes, 50, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on September 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Known for his warm heart, generous spirit, and humorous personality, Demond touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was truly one of a kind.

Demond was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his wife, Alicia, and their three children: Briana, Johnay, and De’Ray. His love for his family was unwavering, and he took great pride in being a guiding light and source of strength for them.

He had a passion for watching the Denver Broncos play and found peace and joy in fishing with his close friends. These simple pleasures reflected his appreciation for life’s quiet moments and the bonds he shared with those around him.

Demond is preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine, and brother, Raymond, whose memories he carried with him always. He leaves behind his father, Claude Flakes, who helped shape him into the man he became, and his two sisters, Audra and Tara, whose love for him knew no bounds.

He also held a special place in his heart for his cousins, nieces, nephews, and brothers-in-law, who brought endless love and joy into his life, along with all his numerous great-nieces and great-nephews who will carry forward his spirit and warmth.

Demond’s circle of close friends who loved him dearly includes Pat and Tina Torres, Carla (Mark) Archuletta, Victor Sandoval-Lucero, Javier Ramirez, Adam Bastardo, Glenn Williams, Mike Herring, Leonard Baca, Coach Chris Valdez, Marcello Hernandez, and Carlos Barrett. Their friendship reflected the kind of man Demond was—loyal, fun-loving, and deeply caring.

To honor Demond’s life, the family will host a remembrance dinner and welcome close friends and family on October 17th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This gathering will be a celebration of the joy he brought into the world and the love he gave so freely.

Demond’s presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
