Blaine Eugene White

April 4, 1937 – September 22, 2025

Colorado Springs, CO

On September 22, Blaine peacefully passed away at his home in Colorado Springs in the

presence of a few close friends.

Blaine is preceded in death by Lida, his loving wife of 45 years. He is survived by his sister,

Darlene (Jim), and many nieces and nephews.

Blaine was born in Medford, Oklahoma to Edwin and Nellie White. He moved to Colorado

Springs with his family in 1950, where he later graduated from Palmer High School. After a

brief work period, he entered the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1966. Blaine

continued his career with the US Postal Service and retired in 1992.

Blaine had a passion for woodworking and was very talented at his craft. He also enjoyed

motorcycles and owned several over the years. Blaine and Lida enjoyed travel, playing games

with friends, and caring for their dogs. Blaine was an avid golfer and surrounded himself with

great golf buddies. During his time at Aspen Trail, he enjoyed socializing, playing bingo, and

was quite the dancer.

Blaine was often the life of the party and will be greatly missed.

Blaine requested no memorial service, and that his ashes be spread near Cripple Creek next to

Lida’s – overlooking a beautiful vista they frequently visited.

If you would like to give a donation in Blaine’s memory or honor, consider one of his favorite

organizations, The Humane Society Pikes Peak Region (Colorado Springs).
