Richard “Rick” Turner, age 40, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away peacefully on

September 16, 2025.

Rick was known to all who met him as one of the kindest souls. He carried a romantic heart

and always seemed to find a positive outlook, even in the toughest of times. Friendly and

approachable, he had a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued. His presence

brought comfort, warmth, and encouragement to family, friends, and all who crossed his

path. Those who knew him best will remember his gentle spirit, his unfailing optimism, and

the love he shared so freely.

Rick’s final generous act was to give the gift of life through organ donation.

Rick is survived by his father, Richard, and his brothers, CJ, John, and Josh. He was preceded

in death by his mother, Laurie, and his brother, Christopher.

There will be no formal services. In lieu of services, the family asks that his memory be

honored in personal ways—by sharing stories, spending time with loved ones, or

performing an act of kindness in his name.

Though he is gone from our sight, Rick’s light continues to shine in the hearts of all who

loved him. Heaven has gained, and we have lost, but his spirit remains forever with us.
