Crystal Janicek

Crystal Janicek, age 50, of Colorado Springs, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on April 24, 1975, Crystal lived a life marked by compassion, curiosity, and an unwavering commitment to those she cared for.

A devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Crystal was known for her infectious laughter, generous spirit, and ability to bring joy into any room she entered. Her warmth and humor touched countless lives, and her resilience inspired those around her.

Crystal was a lifelong learner, passionate about spirituality and education. Whether through formal study, reading, or engaging conversations, she constantly sought to expand her understanding of the world. Her interests ranged from sociology to her pets and nature, and she often shared her insights with others in thoughtful and meaningful ways.

She found her greatest joy in her role as a mother to her beloved daughter, Celeste Carol Griffin, with whom she shared a deep and nurturing bond. Crystal also cherished her close relationship with her mother, Carol Tilden, her sister, Jessica Janicek, and her nephew, Josiah Janicek. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she remained a steadfast source of love and support to them.

Crystal’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will be honored through the laughter she sparked, the wisdom she shared, and the love she gave so freely.
