In Loving Memory of Edith Jacqueline “Jackie” Rhyne Jervay

May 16, 1938 – June 27, 2025

Edith Jacqueline Rhyne Jervay, lovingly known as Jackie, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the age of 87. Born on May 16, 1938, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Jackie lived a life filled with kindness, curiosity, and quiet strength.

She found joy in tending her garden, curling up with books, sipping her favorite coffee, solving puzzles, and faithfully cheering on the Miami Dolphins. Her warmth and love radiated through family and friendships, leaving a legacy of compassion, joy, and grace.

Jackie is survived by her brother, Kenny Rhyne; her children: Michelle (Lawrence) Chinnery, Paulette Jervay, Paul Jervay, and Brett Jervay; and six cherished grandchildren: Lawrence, Samuel, Nicholas, Karly, Sydney, and Liam.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Edith Rhyne; her sister, Jessie Milligan; and her brothers, Charles Rhyne, John Rhyne, Frank Rhyne, Troy Rhyne, and Eddie Rhyne.

A memorial ceremony honoring Jackie’s life will be held on July 31 at 1:00 PM at Pikes Peak National Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
