Antonio Jaime Vargas, 20, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 12th 2025, while protecting the ones he loved—a reflection of his courage, loyalty, and deep love for his family.

Born on June 11, 2005, to Savannah Mielke and Jaime Vargas, Antonio brought light and strength into the lives of those around him. He is survived by his devoted mother, Savannah, and his bonus dad and best friend, Manny; his beloved Irish twin sister, Cristina Vargas; his little big sister, Anna (Alex) Duran; his brothers, Nico (Felicia) Vargas, Isaiah Duran, and Gabe Duran.

Antonio was a proud godfather to Ariana-Mae Perez, a fun and loving uncle to his nieces Amelia Duran and Jazlyn Adcock, and his nephews Armoni Vargas and Santino Duran.

He is also survived by his father and bonus mom, Jaime and Lupita Vargas; his bonus sisters, Rosie and Blanca, and bonus brother, David.

Antonio shared a special bond with a close group of lifelong friends, known as “the brothers”: Ignacio, Diego, Angelo, Lorenzo, Sergio, and Anthony, who were like family and stood by him always.

Antonio’s passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of his extended family and countless friends. He will be remembered for his fierce loyalty, his protective and goofy spirit, and the love he gave so freely.
