Glenn W. Franklin
March 31, 1928 – June 12, 2025. He was 97.
Mr. Franklin was born March 31, 1928 in Lawrenceburg KY to Edgar R. Franklin and Lillian (Hawthorn) Franklin. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of June 12, 2025.
After graduation from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps., and was a non-combat veteran of World War II and Korea.
He married Betty Jean Davis on February 1, 1954. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years. He is survived by his son David Franklin of Colorado Springs.
Mr. Franklin moved to Boulder CO in March 1965 with the announcement of the IBM site. He worked for IBM for 28 years at Kingston NY, Lexington KY and Boulder CO. He held several levels of management in Procurement, Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing. He retired in 1985.
Cremation has been allocated to Alternative Cremation.
