Yon Chin Jensen

November 21, 1947 – May 4, 2025

Yon Chin Jensen, 77, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025.

Yon was born in Seoul, Korea on November 21, 1947. She immigrated to the United States in 1972 and proudly became a U.S. citizen in 1986. A devoted mother and grandmother, Yon found joy in the simple pleasures of life—gardening, taking walks with her beloved dog, and sharing her love through cooking. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Snider, and her three granddaughters, Mikayla, Katelyn, and Melanie.

In accordance with her wishes, no funeral service will be held. A graveside service will be announced at a later date.

She will be remembered for her warmth, quiet strength, and unwavering love for her family.
