Tad Daniel Butler of Dallas, TX passed away on December 2nd, 2023 at just 37 years old.

Tad was born on May 10th, 1986 to Daniel Butler and Denice Taylor in Aurora, CO. Tad grew up in Limon, CO and graduated from Limon High School in 2005. He studied for a short while at Fort Hays University and Colorado State University before going onto construction management.

Anyone who knew Tad knew what an extremely proud and passionate person he was with a keen eye for detail. These traits were evident not only in his work as a talented craftsman, but also in aspects of his everyday life. His color coordinated closet with rows of shoes and hats to match every outfit, or the pride with which he cheered on his beloved Dallas Cowboys are just a few examples. That pride overflowed into his relationships with friends and family as well. He was most proud to be an uncle. He loved all kids and genuinely enjoyed spending time with them. When around his nieces, nephews, and young cousins you would hardly see a smile leave his face. They truly were his pride and joy.

Tad had the biggest heart and was such a loving person. He never knew a stranger and he truly wanted everyone to be successful and happy. He was the ultimate hype man. He loved his friends and family fiercely, and will be so missed.

Tad was predeceased by his Grandpa Rick and Grandma Kathy Butler. He is survived by Grandma Ann Bristow, Grandpa Robert Pinkerton, father Daniel (Sherri) Butler, mother Denice Taylor, step-father Anton Evans, siblings Tanner (Shelby) Taylor, Ashton (Cody) Harrison, Tylan Butler, Joshua Butler, and step-siblings Zack (Zoe) Cesko, Tristan Cesko, and LaRae Cesko. As well as multiple loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of Tad’s life will be held at the Limon Community Building on Sunday December 17th, 2023 from 1-4pm.
