GERALD (JERRY) BLIXT

It is with Great Sadness that on Friday July 26th,2019 Gerald R. Blixt (Jerry) husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son passed away suddenly.  Jerry will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend Judy, his two daughters Jennifer (Andrew) and Jessica, his granddaughter Kimberly (Keven), his brother Alan, and sister Regina.  Jerry will be forever remembered by his colleagues as the consummate professional, always amenable to help out when needed.  As a friend, Jerry, was only a phone call away, willing to assist with whatever was needed.  As a brother, Jerry was A-typical, helping to raise his brother and sister, and forging an everlasting relationship with them.  As a father, he was always enthusiastic to answer questions about how to handle a fender bender, to guiding a daughter through the do’s and don’ts of achieving financial freedom.  As a husband, his first and only thought was fulfilling his wife’s dreams every day.  During his life Jerry wore many hats; Jet Plane Mechanic, Army Sargent, Air Traffic Controller, and Attorney.

The best hat that he had, he held for his Wife.

Per Jerry’s Request There Will Be No Services.

    Judy,
We want to send our love during this heartbreaking time for you. Jerry was such a bright light, shining with optimism. He was our attorney, but am so proud to have also called him our friend. He was the best of the best, always loyal, and true to his ethics and beliefs. He has left a huge void in our lives.

Our most sincere condolences to you and your daughters, and all of the family.

Shirley BaldwinKordick, Rebecca, Alexandra, Patrick, Liz, Kellie and their families (he would always ask how all the kids were…family was everything to Jerry.)

I worked with Jerry a good bit while I was a paralegal. He was a good man and will be greatly missed by all, and especially those in the legal community. May he Rest In Peace.

  6. I am sorry I am very late, but just found out that Mr Blixt passed away. He helped me after my husband passed away, he was a great attorney I thought about him often after he retired, he was kind, had a big heart and knowledge in his field. He will be dearly missed. Condolences to the family and friends.
