Rodney was born in New Brighton, Pennsylvania on April 5th, 1954. He lived the first part of his life in and around the Pittsburgh area. His family relocated to West Virginia during his senior year in High School, where he lived until going into the Army in 1974.
He spent 16 years serving his country and it took him to many places. The most time was spent in Germany. He had a family there and had two children. A boy Tobias and a girl Cathrine.
He came back to the United States and settled in Colorado were he met his wife, Pam. Rodney was not expecting a ready made family, but that’s just what he got and excepted them with open arms. He took on Pam’s children, Jennifer and Jacqueline. He and Pam had many happy years together and celebrated their 27th anniversary last year.
Rodney finished his working career with 18 years at Synthes USA. The company makes medical implant devices. He was a machine operator and lead.
Rodney passed from this world on February 19th, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his beloved Sister, Cheryl Lindner, his Mother and Father, Mary Lois and Robert Lindner and his Mother-in-law, Dorothy Larrabee.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Pam Lindner, his stepdaughters, Jennifer DeRose of Austin Texas and Jaqueline DeRose of Georgetown, Colorado and his grandson, Bobbie Bellinger of Austin Texas.
He also leaves behind his Brother Eric and Sister-in-law JoAnne. As well as Eric’s son Clint and Clint’s children. All from the Pittsburgh area.
As well as all of Pam’s family, Larkin (Franki) Larrabee, Lori Larrabee, Leta (Tom) Hejtmanek and Lynn Banks. This is to include all the nieces and nephews that were spawned from them and are too numerous to mention
He also leaves behind his son, Tobias Lindner, of Germany and his daughter, Catherine Lindner of Majorca and a granddaughter, Clara of Majorca.
Rodney was loved and respected in life by all who knew him. He will be sorely missed.
