  2. Just saw this tonight. Loren and I served in the Navy together back in the 80’s. It was a special time in our lifes. Loren and I reconnected about two years ago and chatted a few times. I am sad he is gone. RIP my friend. I will miss our talks.

  3. We served on the Alamo together. Have thought about him many times. So sorry to see another good sailor go to the deep.

  4. One year ago today you left us. I just wanted to say you are remembered. Sorry I was not there when you left us. Rest my friend. See you again one day.

  5. I grew up with Loren in Lodi, CA. Near Woodbridge, CA. We went to school together and had many great times. Rest In Peace my friend1.

  6. Loren was a schoolgirl’s crush.
He would come by my house and visit. He was courteous, polite and oh so cute! He would talk about joining the navy as we took walks down to the corner park on Sabbath afternoons; that was forty years ago.
Over the years, I prayed for him. Last night, as I finished my prayer, I had the strongest feeling to google him. Then, I saw his picture and read the obit. My hope and prayer is to see him again on that glorious resurrection morning.

Thank you for writing that he was a true believer in Jesus. 🙂

  7. Hi Gary,
I remember sitting on the front porch and watched the two of you riding your bikes past my house when I lived on the corner of Westwood Ave. and Lake St.
    Just gotta luv those memories!
