1954 ~ 2017
Michael Dean Geraghty, 63, Pueblo, CO (formerly Gardner, KS), passed away December 5th, 2017 at his home. Mike was born June 24th, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri. He operated a small construction company for most of his career and built many homes in the Johnson County area over the years. He spent countless hours on his property in Paola, KS hunting deer and turkey. He enjoyed anything that involved being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid fan of the KC Chiefs, KC Royals, and he loved his KU basketball. He adored his two grandchildren, Colton and Lexie and spent as much time with them as he possibly could.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Robin Gomez, his father, Bernard Geraghty, and nephew John W. Parkhurst, II. He is survived by daughters Layla Bryan & husband Chris of Gardner KS and Sarah Herdman & husband Dan of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Colton (Mr. Cool) and Lexie (Miss Cool) Bryan of Gardner, KS; mother, Erma Emery of Independence, MO; Sisters, Jacquelyn Parkhurst LaForte of Kansas City, MO & Michelle Schmidt & husband, Will of Sioux City, IA; his roommate, Josh Pena of Pueblo, CO; and his puppy, Muttley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, & great friends both in Kansas and Colorado.

He is deeply missed by all of us. I’m crying with you both. I know n my heart he is with Robin the love of his life.
