Tracy Edmond Howard, 57, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Born on January 25, 1969, in Pueblo, Colorado, Tracy lived a life marked by faith, service, compassion, and an unwavering love for his family and community. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, coach, teacher, and friend whose presence touched countless lives.

Tracy is survived by his loving wife of nearly 20 years, Larisa Howard, affectionately known as Mrs. Howard; his mother, Hollie Oden; his stepmother, Diana Howard; his brothers, William Howard Jr. and his twin Tim Howard; his sisters, Tamera Lester and her husband Steve, and Julie Weitze and her husband Marcus; his step brother Gavin Cashman and wife Sarah, his daughter, Claudia Howard; his stepchildren, John Lemme and his wife Nicole, Ashleigh Lemme, and Joseph Lemme; and six cherished grandchildren. He also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Howard Sr.; his brother, James Howard; and his nephew, Donovan Anderson.

Tracy’s career as a Driving Instructor was more than a profession—it was a calling that was near and dear to his heart. He took great pride in helping others gain confidence and independence, and he approached his work with patience, dedication, and genuine care.

For the past 18 years, Tracy faithfully served as a Special Olympics coach, a role that brought him tremendous joy and fulfillment. His athletes achieved success time and time again, earning gold medals under his guidance, encouragement, and belief in their potential. His impact extended far beyond competition, as he inspired countless individuals through his commitment and support.

A devoted Christian, Tracy’s faith was the foundation of his life. He was a dedicated Bible study teacher who loved sharing God’s Word and encouraging others in their walk with the Lord. His faith was evident in the way he lived—through kindness, generosity, compassion, and a servant’s heart.

Those who knew Tracy will remember his warm smile, his infectious sense of humor, and his endless collection of dad jokes that could bring laughter to any room. Above all, he will be remembered for his deep love for the Lord and for the extraordinary love he had for his wife, Larisa, whom he loved with his whole being.

Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, Tracy’s legacy of faith, love, service, and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Heart of the Springs Church, 2726 N. Union Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado. A reception will immediately follow the service.
