Christopher Andre Vargas, known to his loved ones as Chris, peacefully passed away on September 21, 2023, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the age of 51. He was born on January 6, 1972, in Colorado Springs, where he spent his entire life.

Chris was a dedicated landscaper by trade and the proud owner of a successful business called “A Cleaner Cut Landscape”. Through his work, he formed lasting friendships with his clients, who admired his professionalism and skill. Chris’s passion for nature extended beyond his career, as he found solace and joy in spending time in the mountains and by the lakeside, often accompanied by his children and extended family. Fishing was a cherished pastime for him, as it provided him with precious moments of togetherness and relaxation.

As a father, Chris was devoted to his children, even as they grew into adulthood. He cherished every moment spent with them and loved nothing more than sharing ice cream with his kids. His nurturing nature and kind-heartedness endeared him to his family and friends, who will remember him as a loving and family-oriented man.

Christopher is survived by his father, Herman Vargas, and his five children: Victoria Gonzalez, Christopher Vargas II, Isaiah Vargas, Angelique Vargas, and Gabriel Vargas. He also leaves behind three adored grandsons, Jayden, Josiah, and Preston. In addition, he is survived by his four brothers: Miles Vasquez, Vincent Vargas (Josette), Nico Vargas (Chelsea), and Noah Vargas (Lita). Chris will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Aguilar, his daughter Lucinda Vargas, his grandparents Carlota Gonzalez and Rosendo Baca, and his stepmother Lupe Vargas.

To honor and remember Christopher Andre Vargas, a private service will be held by the family. The family appreciates the love and support they have received during this difficult time.
