Thomas Jefferson Wales

Born: May 20, 1930 Bussey, Iowa

Died June 28, 2020 Colorado Springs, Colorado

Called Tom by all who knew and loved him. He is proceeded by his father and mother Walter and Ruth Wales, his brother William “Bill” Wales, and his sister Irma Wales.

He is survived by his beloved wife Sharon and numerous children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. and his brother Harry.

Dad had a large blended family. His heart was big enough to love us all and make us all feel special. He was a humble man of quiet faith and integrity. The compassion he had for others is a gift he shared with his children. He was witty and adventurous. He made friends wherever he went, was fair to all he met, and always kept his eyes open to help where needed. He taught us to be strong and resilient. He gifted us with a sense of humor and taught that laughter eased the worst of times and gilded better times.
