Mark Eberhart was born on January 1, 1961, to Gardner and Donna Eberhart at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. He passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2026, at the age of 65.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle Eberhart, his parents, Gardner and Donna Eberhart; his siblings, Dorene, Lee, and Dan; his children, Shana, Corey, Craig, Michael, Danielle, and Caryn; his grandchildren, Caleb, Gianna, Brooke, Kinsley, Jace, Kylo, Tyson, and Clay; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Mark was a proud United States Army veteran. A master electrician by trade, Mark was known for his strong work ethic, willingness to help others, and ability to fix just about anything. He took great pride in sharing his knowledge and mentoring those around him.
In 2009, Mark and his wife established the Eberhart Ranch, which became the heart of the life they built together. Mark had a deep love for animals and devoted countless hours to caring for the horses, dogs, cows, chickens, cats, and other animals that called the ranch home. Those who knew Mark often said he never met an animal he couldn’t love. If an animal was hungry, injured, abandoned, or simply in need of care, Mark was always willing to help. Caring for them brought him immense joy, and he worked tirelessly to provide for both the ranch and his family.
More than anything, Mark was devoted to the people he loved. He was a dedicated husband, proud father, and loving grandfather who treasured time spent with his family. His kindness, generosity, and steady presence touched countless lives and will be remembered by all who knew him.
Mark leaves behind a lasting legacy through the family he cherished, the ranch he built, the animals he cared for, and the many people he helped throughout his life.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
