Charles Randall Carter II, age 64, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025. He was born

in Middleton, Ohio.

Charles served his country proudly in the United States Army, where he was a fabulous

trombone player in the military band. After his service he worked as a salesman for Rainbow

Vacuum. He was known for his strong faith, his sense of humor, and his love of making others

laugh. A natural jokester, Charles brought smiles to those around him and found joy in simple

pleasures, including riding his bike.

He is survived by his sister Barbara (Randy) Cates; his daughter Brianne (Aaron) Gallardo; his

son Randy (Katahdin) Carter; his grandchildren Reiley and Nicholos Gallardo; nieces Renee

Carter, Kayla Barton, and Alison Cates; and nephews Andy Carter and Ryan Cates.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Virginia Carter; his brothers Daniel

Carter and Michael (Candi) Carter, and his nephew Danny Carter.

Charles will be remembered for his faith, his laughter, and the love he had for his family.
