KYLE ENSEY

AUGUST 23, 1997-DECEMBER 13, 2025

Kyle Brendon Ensey, 28, resident of McClave, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, December 13th, 2025. He was born and raised in the Tulsa area. He was a wonderful son and the best big brother.

Kyle was an entrepreneur, professional trading card collector, gun collector and gamer, as well as a connoisseur of fine foods and teas. He was an excellent baker and cook.  Kyle’s entire world was his younger sister and his gaming community.  He was hilarious and a jokester, as well as exceptionally giving to others.  He loved the elderly, caring for animals, giving back to his community through baking and cooking. When Kyle put his mind to something, he devoted himself whole-heartedly, as he did with his lifelong gaming friends.

Kyle is survived by his parents, Amy Ross [of Oklahoma City] and Virgil (Regan) Ensey, sister, Vivien Ensey [all residents of McClave], maternal grandfather Kenneth (Gayle) Ross, maternal uncle Gregg and cousin River Ross, step-aunt Robyn Verner, and step great-aunt and-uncle Tim and Margo Naramore.  On his paternal side, Kyle is survived by uncles Jackie Don (Jerri) Ensey, Garry Ensey, Bobby Ensey, Roger Ensey, Chris (Samantha) Jarvis; and aunts Miranda Fry, Patricia Taylor, Tammy Self, Teresa Gilstrap, and Geanatte Bowlin. He also has bonus uncles Jeff (Emily) Shackelford and Cory (Tracy) Miller.  Kyle was an endlessly devoted friend to his online gaming community, who misses him terribly.

Kyle is preceded in death by his grandparents Carolyne Jane Ross, Shirley Cleaver, K. William Pless, and Tom and Terri Verner.

An in-person Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date in Oklahoma.

Kyle’s Final Fantasy gaming community is holding a Celebration of Life on his ‘Free Company House’ on Discord all day on Sunday, December 21st.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hasty/McClave Fire Protection District, who worked diligently with Kyle in his final moments. His parents have endless gratitude for these men and women who went above and beyond to help our son.
