Martina Dora Hernandez, 84, born January 30, 1941, passed away October 28, 2025. Preceded in death by husband Elias Paul Hernandez, parents Sofronia and Seferino Montoya, infant daughter Marcella, brothers Gilbert Montoya, Milton Montoya, Carmel Montoya, Steven Montoya, Max Montoya and sister Frances Montoya. Survived by daughters, Marie Atencio (Roy, NM), Connie (Ruben) Roman (Pueblo), son Michael (Pueblo), three granddaughters, Elyssa (Chris) Grine (Amarillo, TX), Lauree Atencio (Jaime Ortega) (Amarillo, TX) and Vanessa Atencio (Amarillo, TX), six great-grandchildren, Joseph (Alexis) Martinez, Layla Grine, Grace, Ava and Elena Ortega, Kiana Carter, and great-great-grandsons Elias and Neriah Martinez, sister Mary Sena (Oakfield, WI) and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was a homemaker and seamstress, known for her baking and cooking, and her love for her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We’d like to say a very special thank you to the staff at Abode Hospice for their services and help during her final days. Funeral services to take place 10am on November 25 at Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Goodnight Avenue in Pueblo, Colorado. Burial to take place at a later date.
