Joseph E. Romero, born April 12, 1948, passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2025, at the age of 76. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Joseph leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service.

Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Delores Romero; his three daughters, Paulette Romero, Monica Romero, and Jolene Romero; five grandchildren, Tosha Romero, Anthony Sablan, Raylynn Romero, Zorene Romero, and Elijah Romero; and four great-grandchildren, Zyella Romero, Xavier Forest-Romero, Aleena Sablan, and Yajaira Villarreal. All of whom he cherished deeply. He was preceded in death by his parents, Christian and Flaminia Romero, and his brother, Raymond Romero.

Joseph’s life was marked by unwavering service and sacrifice. Drafted into the military, he proudly served his country for 33 years, achieving the distinguished rank of Chief Warrant Officer Four. Following his military career, he continued his dedication to service by retiring from the U.S. Postal Service after 20 years. 

Above all, Joseph was a dedicated family man who took great pride in his role as a father and grandfather. His wisdom, kindness, and sense of duty were a guiding light to his family, and his presence will be deeply missed.

A service to honor and celebrate Joseph’s life will be held April 9, 2025. The family welcomes all who knew and loved him to join in remembering his legacy.
