It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of Miranda (Mandi) Allison Kovach on Monday August 31, 2020 at the young age of 37 years.  She graduated from Colorado State University Pueblo in 2007 with a degree in education and later obtained a master’s degree from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. During her career, she served as a mentor teacher, grade level team lead, and school leadership team member.
She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, kindergarten and 2nd grade school teacher.  She will be deeply missed by her husband Paul Clarke, mother Phyl Delcamp, sisters Danielle Gieck and Carissa Spindler, brothers Brandon Eilts and Nathan Kovach, stepfather Don Gardner, grandmother Dorothy Miller, and all who knew her.  She is preceded in death by her father Gary Kovach.

Miranda was a highly respected teacher who was loved by students, parents and colleagues.  Her priority was to always put her students and their families first.  She was a trusted colleague who was always willing to take time to share her skills and knowledge with others.  She is deeply missed by her John Adams Elementary school family, District-11 colleagues and her many students and friends.
Although Mandi was born in Pennsylvania, she always considered Colorado home.  We will miss Mandi’s love of fall and the snow as well as the warmth she brought in the midst of any cold season.  She will best be remembered for her dedication to her family and friends and loving consideration of those in need.
A memorial fund will be set up through Adams Elementary School that will benefit the students. Additional details will be provided soon.
