1954 ~ 2017
LuAnn York (Mazon), RN, BSN , 62, passed away on July 10, 2017 peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. LuAnn was born in Evergreen Park, IL. She was raised in the Chicago area and lived a majority of her life there but also enjoyed 19 years living in Houston, TX. She most recently resided in Colorado Springs, CO.
LuAnn most enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a lover of life, nature, cooking, lighthouses, angels, and photography. LuAnn was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and great friend. She was a caregiver at heart, both professionally through her career in nursing and for others close to her. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Beloved wife of 35 years to Robert L. York. Loving mother of Lene (Jeff) McCollum and Jaime (Tony) Guches. Caring grandmother to Logan, Evan, Cooper, Ashton, Tanner, and Bayleigh. Loving sister to Raymond (Lynn), Teri (John), Michael (Brenda), Donald (Kim). Preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Dorothy Cap.
