October 22, 1960- December 13, 2016

Daniel “Dan” was born October 22, 1960 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He resided with his wife and dog Jax in Canon City, Colorado. He loved the outdoors, fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with family and friends. He was a self-employed general handyman, always eager to help others. He was a US Navy Veteran. He was generous and soft-spoken. Dan lived a life of being humble and kind. He was an active member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Canon City, Colorado. Dan passed away December 13, 2016 at Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. He had been a patient in the Burn Unit since early October 2016 as a result of a fire at his home.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Robert Joseph Pranger. He is survived by his wife Clarita “ Cris” and daughter Darlene Pranger. His mother Joan Suttell, of Summerfield, Florida. His sisters Brenda Slipetz of Columbia City, Indiana; Cynthia “Cindy” Gillem of Raleigh, North Carolina; Victoria “Vicki” Saylor of Chester, Virginia; Kathleen “Kathy” Neal of North Manchester, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by many family members and friends.
